Stick time is a 60-minute, fast paced session that implements game situational scenarios. The session involves a maximum of six to eight players that will be put to the test physically and mentally, thinking and reacting to various situations in a confined area. This exposes players to quick decision making under extreme pressure. Every skill is executed at game speed, from protecting a puck to passing through coverage or pressuring the net.
The most critical drills focus on instructing players to play below the circles, being posed with the puck and being able to mentally slow the game down under extreme pressure. Sessions focus on the following areas:
- Pressure One on One
- Two on One
- Battling Two on Two
